Terrace Towers Lodge was built for summer fun! In fact, visitors have been escaping the summer heat at our 1950's lodge before Red River even had a winter season. Families have been relaxing with us for over 50 years now and for good reason.
Located on the west end of Main Street, we border the Carson National Forest and have spectacular views of the town of Red River and Red River Ski Area. A hike in the mountains starts right outside your door. If you prefer a different mode of transportation, Jeep and ATV rentals, horseback rides, mountain bike rentals, guided truck tours and summer chair lift rides are just down the street. Have your own ATVs? Trailer parking is available. Please check with the Red River Chamber Of Commerce for the latest out-of-state regulations before your trip. Want to spend your day shopping? Red River's famous shopping begins a block and a half away. You can walk Main Street until you are tired and then take the Miner's Transit back to the lodge. Here to fish? We are located two blocks from the Red River and three blocks from the Kids Fishing Pond. Other great spots are just a short drive away.
Three gas grills and six charcoal grills are on the property to cook your daily catch. You can visit with your neighbors while the kids are on the playground and share stories about the one that got away. Chairs are just outside your door on our covered porches to sit and relax with your morning coffee, escape an afternoon rain shower or just enjoy the view.
During the busier times of the summer we have our famous Tuesday Night Cookouts. We supply the burgers, hot dogs and a local musician. The guests bring whatever else they can and we all just have a great time.
